Dear Passionate Music Tech Creator:
If you’ve been looking to increase the sales of your DAWs, plugins, audio hardware, musical instruments… of your music tech products and services… this may be the most important letter that you read.
Why?
Because I’m going to show you how to finally connect with those musicians, audio engineers, producers, and production companies that you haven’t quite been able to get through to.
Who Am I?
My name is John Thomas, and I’m a musician, audio engineer, and (maybe most importantly to you today) I’m also an experienced copywriter and content writer.
I’ve written for email copy for million dollar companies, had my content published on the 396th most visited site in the U.S. (1,419 most visited in the world as of May, 2026), and written for songwriting sites.
I know my way around a headline, a hook, an offer, and a call to action.
What that means for you is that, yes, I can write copy and content for your business, whether that is websites, landing pages, emails, sales letters, blog posts or any other marketing and educational writing for your business.
Of course, you may have come across other writers before. The problem is that those other writers aren’t also musicians and audio engineers. They have to try to figure out what will appeal to your buyers.
On the other hand, because I also play music, write music, mix music, I’m unique among writers:
I’m also your market.
This means that my writing is uniquely different in that it can move people who might be interested in the products and services that you sell to actually buy your products and services.
Which is what you’re looking for, right? A way to engage with people and get them to buy so that you can meet payroll, pay your bills, and bring in the sales that you need to live life and expand your business if you want to.
Typically, the next question that people ask is…
“What services do you offer?”
To be clear, if you’re looking for someone to write the “great American novel” (or the great novel from whatever country you live in), I’m probably not the right person for that job.
First, I don’t write novels for other people. I write to help people grow sales and their businesses.
Second, I frankly have my doubts that writing a novel in which music software or hardware plays a main character role would actually sell well or help you to sell more of what you offer. That wouldn’t help you or me…
What I can do, though, is I can help you to solidify your marketing goals, your brand voice, and develop and implement a marketing plan.
And I can write the words for your business that bring in the customers and sales to actually reach those business goals.
Does that sound like something that you need for your business? Are you ready to move the needle and to grow your business while also making the lives of music creators the world over better?
If you answered yes to those questions, then simply send me an email right now to john@musictechcopywriter.com telling me a little bit about who you are, what you’re trying to accomplish, and how you think that I might be able to help you. We’ll set up a time to have a short chat to see help you reach those goals.
And if it makes sense for both of us, we can talk about how we can further work together from there.
Sound good?
Talk soon, then!
Best,
John Thomas
